A Cranberry Red Wedding in Sussex with Hollywood Curls
Lydia and Steve’s December wedding was a Wintery day filled with Cranberry tones and warm vintage colours.
On a wedding day, I deliver and style all the wedding flowers in the morning and arrive amidst a cloud of hairspray in the air and when the first champagne glasses of the day are clinking. I'm usually long gone before the ceremony begins, so getting to see how the day unfolds in photographs is always a real treat. I've selected some of the wedding photos so you can see Lydia and Steve's day too. Lydia and Steve's photos were taken by D&A Photography.

4 Ideas for Scrolling Less
Ever since my iphone started telling me how long I stare at its screen each week, I’ve been thinking more about my scrolling time. I’m not anti-technology and I really like the way lots of apps are platforms for creativity and useful information. I think it’s great that our phones are a port-key to communities and groups of people we would otherwise never be able to talk to. What I’d like to understand is why I ‘mindlessly’ scroll and ways I can get my time back from doing this, and spend it on what I really enjoy.
Where to Shop Small this Valentine's
This Valentine’s Day I’m on a quest to shop small, independent and local. I feel like it’s so much more beneficial to the local community when we spend our money on something that a small and independent maker has carefully designed and made. In this blog post I’ve collected 6 makers and designers together to make a virtual Valentine’s market for you to wander around and peruse. I’m sorry there’s no virtual coffee shop invented yet but I suppose you can make yourself a cuppa, sit down and enjoy some small and independent shopping.

Why I’m into Deep Plum Tones for Christmas
A Christmas colour palette that I’m currently really into is one of rich and deep plum shades. It reminds me of the burning brandy on the Christmas pudding, delicious dark red desert wine and spending time with family and friends around a table full of rich food. The deep plum colour palette is also perfectly matched to flowers at this time of year.

How to Make a Flower Crown
